THE LEFT HAS NO SHAME
As always what's bad for the U.S. is good news for the left Sidney Blomenthal a former assistant and senior advisor for Bill Clinton has written a hit piece published in Der Spiegel A German news magazine. In the article he goes on and on as how President Bush is to blame for the devastation in New Orleans. One of the reasons he sites is a proposed study by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers that was halted by Bush. The study was how New Orleans could be protected from a catastrophic hurricane. Well I don't know if that is true, but I do know that it would have taken more than a dam year to do all that Sidney! You dolt Sidney even reports that The United Nations special envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa accused the Bush administration of responsibility for a condom shortage in Uganda. In this hit piece Bush gets blamed for Katrina, no condoms in Uganda and global warming

Just curious - why is it that ONE guy writes an article and the post is entitled The Left. Why the collective rather than individual judgment?
I dont know, maybe look at all the editorials and see how many lean toward the right. Do you think I could cut and past his article and Hebert's from the New York Times and you couldnt tell who wrote what
So, you read an opinion and you stamp a label on it? Left or right. Is the world that simple and each human that simple that it is possible to sum up everything they are in one label? Is there an in-between?
If I read Sidney Blumenthal, Paul Krugman or Bob Herbert I dont have to put a label on them they do that on their own. Or are you going to tell me there opinions are the middel of the road?
I am not suggesting where on the road their opinions lie. Just because someone doesn't agree with Bush doesn't mean he or she is a "leftist". Check out the libertarian papers some time. They can't stand Bush and they are so much farther right of any of the so-called conservatives.
