Legislation reinstating a band on body piercing by minors was approved by the state senate. You could be fined up to $250.00 for piercing anyone under the age of 18 without parental consent. But do an abortion without parental consent no problem.

Heck, in Texas it's illegal to tattoo a minor even with parental consent. The only circumstance under which it's permitted is if a judge signs an order for a second tattoo to disguise an existing gang-related tattoo! And in Oklahoma, tattooing is illegal, period, paragraph. Go figure.

And don't get caught sneaking your kid some Tylenol cold medicine at school if he's sick...

but they'll help your daughter leave campus for an abortion.

Yeah, our laws are backwards on these things. I believe Wisconsin at least requires parental notification for baby murder. Nice post.

Why dont we raise the adult age to 21, just think about it, you are responsible for your children for 21 years..

You can be on parole for murder in 8 years for good behavior.

This makes the case for Prop 73 - The Parental Notification Initiative.

If you can't get pierced without Mom and Dad Knowing about it... why can you go get psychotherapy and an abortion without your folks knowledge?
