DEMOCRATS SAME OLD PLAY BOOK

The Democrats are back to their same old tricks, what's bad for America is good for us. The Democratic National committee is trying to tell people that its Bush's fault for high gas. That Republicans are in the oil companies pockets, never mentioning they received $17 million from the industry.
What would the Democrats do to curb prices? The DNC said they'd investigate oil companies and their profits. Oh sure cant have profits in their socialist world. The truth is very little can be done in the oil market, prices have been driven up by China's huge new demands for oil. And gasoline is such a small part of oil imports that if we all started driving cars with very high mpg the price would hardly move. Plus the left likes to have it both ways we went to war for oil-we're paying to much for oil. Well which one is it.

Right now the left is grasping at straws to come up with something to discredit the Bush administration. I wonder what they will do to John Roberts?

This is a long running joke in our house "well if that darn president would do something about the gas prices" we like to mock the left. Do they not understand that CHINA is now starting to drive cars and use oil????? Why do they have to lie about everything? It isn't like they don't know this. Well known economists have been talking about it for months. Why do they care anyway, they want everytone to ride bikes anyway. Did they all of a sudden forget about the environment issues that were so near and dear to their bleeding hearts?

We haven't built an oil refinery since I was in Kindergarten in California...

Wonder why there is a problem?
