ROMANCING THE STONE......NOT!

Oliver Stone says he's "ashamed of my country" In a interview he gave in Spain. But I'm not ashamed to take its money. Stone went on to say "Terrorism is a manageable action. It can be lived with." Well if that's the case let it be managed in one of your gated estates.
The people he would defend i.e. Islamic extremist and Castro would have executed or arrested him long ago. Bashing this President or this nation doesn't take any guts. What would take courage is for Stone to go to Cuba or an Islamic state and criticize it.
But that wont happen he needs to stay connected with the Hollywood left and the rest of the phonies.
I can only do my part and refuse to see anything with Oliver Stones name on it.

TELL US THE WAY


Well Monday the Democrats held a democrat-only hearing on the war in Iraq and are calling for a new direction saying the present course is a complete failure. Of course they offered no direction of their own, just parading there own old solders out that won't fade away. "Success in Iraq and success in the war against terrorism will only happen if we make good decisions," Sen. Byron Dorgan (N.D.) added. And again not mentioning the direction. Criticizing and blaming is what the Democrats have to offer and nothing of any real substance. So I guess the Dems plan is stuck on stupid !

HELL IN A HAND BASKET


Its official America is in decline according to Mel Gibson. When not out hustling his new movie soothsayer Mel in a
Reuter's news release drawing parallels between the Mayan civilization on the brink of collapse and America's present situation.
However no one asked the tough question and that's if he thought the Jews were behind the decline. (I would ask my neighbor but they are in Miami)
Mel is using the time honored Hollywood tradition of bashing the U.S. when you yourself may be in decline.

REMEMBERING CHOMSKY

When I saw the book il Duce Chavez was holding up in the UN it reminded me of one of the other great things Chomsky did. And that was along with William Kunstler, to lobby for the release of Susan Rosenberg. Susan was a member of the Weather Underground. In 1981 she drove the getaway car after her gang robbed a Brinks truck in Nanuet, New York in which guard Peter Paige and two police officers Edward O' Gray and Waverly Brown where killed.
Susan was also involved in the escape from prison of joanne Chesimard, sentenced to life for killing a New Jersey State Trooper. She was finally caught in 1984 in a warehouse in New Jersey where she was unloading 640 lbs of explosives and in the possession of fourteen firearms.
And if you remember she was given a pardon by Bill Clinton on his last day in office. Oh yeah in September of 91 he also pardoned fourteen members of the FALN

McCAIN'S NEIGHBORHOOD

John McCain in New Hampshire said "Straying from the Geneva Conventions to interrogate and try "foreign detainees" would erode America's image and could endanger U.S. operatives in the future.
I hate it when they use the word detainees. I was detained when I was high school once. I went to detention and did homework for an hour.
John they are not enemy combative they're,say the word John terrorist.
They are the same people that shot a nun four times in the back, they are the same lovable folks that drove a bicycle into a group of children getting candy from GI's and blew them up. These are the same people that would saw your head off as they pray to Allah. Handle the terrorist with kids gloves ...Not in my neighborhood.

Her crime....Dedicating her life to help Muslim children.

A SPADES A SPADE


Sorry if I offended any shovels out there with the title. It seems that Sen. Russ Fiengold has a problem
with President Bush using the phrase "Islamic fascist" when referring to the terrorist in his speech. Russ says its" offensive" Well I've been offended
5813 times since 9/11. The democrats still live in a pre 9-11 world as evidenced by Andy Rooney's ridiculous
commentary on 60 minutes when he said "Americans are puzzled over why so many people in the world hate us. We seem so nice to ourselves. They do hate us though. We know that and we're trying to protect ourselves with more weapons. We have to do it I suppose but it might be better if we figured out how to behave as a nation in a way that wouldn't make so many people in the world want to kill us." HOW TO BEHAVE AS A NATION! Andy what a self loathing dolt, what other nation does so much for so many and what other people in this world give so much to so many and what nation do more people try to get too risking everything to get there?

SO WHAT'S THE NEWS?

The SacBee reporting that the prison union endorses Phil Angelides comes as no surprise to me or anyone else for that matter. The big news is when any union endorses a republican candidate.
Lets reminisce on what the President of California Correctional Peace Officers Association said in 1998 regarding Gray Davis "We've watched Gray Davis grow in office. We think he's also matured in the field of crime. He's a capable administrator,'' said Don Novey, president of the CCPOA, which has endorsed Davis in four previous statewide elections.
