IS THIS A GREAT COUNTRY or WHAT?

Looks like Sonoma County health care worker George Albergi won the lotto, after a Sonomo County Superior Court awarded him $1.5 million in lost wages and $5 million for pain and suffering.
For 14 years he worked with the county's Human Services Department. Alberigi was diagnosed with panic disorder and agoraphobia (fear of being in public places) He was allowed to interview medi-cal patients by phone. He then applied for a promotion in 2001 This new job would have required him to meet with clients in person. And needless to say didn't get the job and went on permanent disability and sued the county in 2003.
Now am I to believe this guy was paid $250,000 a year as a county case worker?
Mr Alberigi may have a fear of public places but certainly not one of public money
