GOOD TO BE BACK OR IS IT?

Just back from a fishing trip, a great fishing trip. How do I know it was great..BECAUSE I DIDN'T CATCH ANY FISH!! It was all Bush's fault or global warming. Have you noticed the old adage was let George do it now its Blame Bush for it. I see the Drillanator has a new slogan when it comes to firecrackers "just say no" For as long as I lived in this town I can't recall a fourth of July celebration that caused a conflagration.

I wonder how DiFi and the Boxer will vote on The Global Poverty Act of 2007 (s.2433) This is a bill that was sponsored by Obama in the house and should be up for vote in the Senate after the 4th July break. It taxes us trillions over a course of several years to wipe out poverty all over the world. We couldn't tax our way out of poverty in our own country how do we expect to do it all over the world. And who gets to distribute the wealth our good friends at the U.N. you know those oil for food guys. Right the poor will get that, right.
How about the Supreme Court 1 out 3 is all we could hope for. At least we have the right to shoot child rapist and terrorist in the privacy of our own homes.

TRAIN WRECK KEEPS ON CHUGGING

Arnold Drillanator and one time conservative said he was opposed to off shore drilling and need to get away from dirty oil. Well thanks for your intelligent discourse, I'm sure you made you wife happy. You folks who work in dirty oil that keeps this country going must be pleased. He says we need electric cars! Arnold has become another ideologue that loves his life style but dam if you should have it. The one good thing is Arnold can't run for President. Its a shame having to live here and continue to watch this train wreck called California chug along. With liberal politician's and liberal Hollywood running this state it has slowly slipped into a socialist haven. Spending out of control, budget woes, An education system that was once the pride of the nation failing its students, illegal aliens, an attempt to ruin health care its no wonder companies pack up and leave.

MARXIST IN THE HOUSE

Rep. Maurice Hinchey, D-N.Y. Who swore to protect and defend the Constitution, thinks its time for the government to take over the refineries. He joins Maxine Waters whom also thinks it would be a good idea to do this. Just for mouthing theses statements I feel they should be removed from their seats. I don't see how you can protect and defend the Constitution with theses Marxist views. The scariest thing is probably almost half of the population would go along with this. A take over of the refineries! sure why not, a take over of our health care! sure why not, take over the farms so we can distribute the food equally! sure why not. With Marxist in the house already and the probability that a Marxist could be our President and a soft dependent populace we could easily become a Socialist country.

SOMTIMES I JUST CAN'T STOMACH IT

The most patriotic of the patriotic will be raising the flag for the rededicating of Fort Baker. Nancy Pelosi, Lynn Woolsey and John Murtha a who's who of bringing down the military and our security. I guess its only fitting I don't think they would be there if it was dedicating an active fort. But now that its a park its ok. When they talk about the cost they say the federal government put in $23 million, like it was their money.
If you would like to go the dedication forget about it, its by invitation only We regular yahoos will have to wait till the elitist are gone. After the dedication the three amigos will be gleefully wringing their hands as to decide what other military bases they can turn in to parks. You think they would at least buy the world a Coke.

ANGST RISES AS SALES TAX FADES

Dan Walters editorial ANGST RISES AS SALES TAX FADES is a great primer as to what happens when tax spending legislators see our money as theirs. When any tax is raised we have to rethink our home budgets to cover the extra cost. Legislators be they Federal or State regard the states budget as our problem with the only fix is to raise our taxes. To them giving up pet projects or to end programs that keep people dependent on government is unthinkable. Its a sad state of affairs when the largest employer is the government.
Unfortunately the nanny state is the mind set of most of our citizens. They see the state as a fix all for all their problems, even if their problem was of their own making. Alexis de Tocqueville understood the American Ideal when he wrote in Democracy in America
"As social conditions become more equal, the number of persons increases who, although they are neither rich nor powerful enough to exercise any great influence over their fellows, have nevertheless acquired or retained sufficient education and fortune to satisfy their own wants. They owe nothing to any man, they expect nothing from any man; they acquire the habit of always considering themselves as standing alone, and they are apt to imagine that their whole destiny is in their own hands." If only today's citizens had this grit.

NEEDED INSPIRATION

SUPREME COURT TROJAN HORSE

2008 PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN POSTER

LET MY PEOPLE GO

Thanks Supreme Court for giving the terrorists a helping hand. Thank you for the slap to the face of those in the military who do what no else can do. Its maybe time that all that serve should just get out and let the courts and congress protect us. The court stated in its opinion "Liberty and security can be reconciled" which of the definitions are they using for reconciled?

1.
to cause (a person) to accept or be resigned to something not desired: He was reconciled to his fate.
2.
to win over to friendliness; cause to become amicable: to reconcile hostile persons.
3.
to compose or settle (a quarrel, dispute, etc.).
4.
to bring into agreement or harmony; make compatible or consistent: to reconcile differing statements; to reconcile accounts.
The new word out there should be TAKE NO PRISONERS
